I’ve always found interesting this conception of what Jesus may have actually looked like.  It’s rather a friendlier face than the cold, anglicized (and kind of…ineffectual) Jesus we often depict in the West.

I also wonder if there’d be less animosity among American Christians toward the Palestinian people if more of us realized that Jesus actually looked like them.

I have been looking at a gazillion pictures of my nephew. It is surreal to see my sister go from the girl who was my side kick in life, to being a mom in (what seems) an instant.

On a side note: my mom tells me that he can’t.stop.eating. He wants to be on the boob 24/7. The horror of it…..!
